I know this chick is old news now, but my goodness, I remember seeing her art gallery on DeviantArt once a few years ago, which she deactivated now, so I figured that I had to check out this topic (which I've read many times before I registered here) and spread my words..
Man, she was so obsessed and in love with Jiminy Cricket, so much that her obsession was the reason as to why she didn't visit her dying grandmother in the hospital at the time before she passed. This was a horrible decision she made because family is very important, especially if you have one of them in a hospital who needs your help or support. She even put a wedding ring on her Jiminy plush, which is nuts. It proves that she was in love with the fictional cricket to such a ridiculous and unhealthy extent, to the point that she treats him like he's her real husband when he's just fictional. This is rotten behavior, and you can't marry fictional characters in real-life. What was she thinking? It's fine to like a fictional character, but not to the extent of having an unhealthy crush/obsession or wanting to be in a relationship with said character that you don't care about your family or anything else. You can't have children with a fictional character, either. I really hope that she grew out of this unhealthy "relationship" and learned from her mistakes from now on.
I also can't get over how many fetishes she had. She makes Jiminy more "attractive" just to satisfy her own fantasies. I would never see him that way. I don't see any other fictional character that way, either. She even had a love-obsession with his deceased voice actor Cliff Edwards which is just impossible, especially since he died before she was even born and he had a wife during the time he was alive. Let's not forget that voice actors/actresses are real people doing their jobs, not fictional characters. If someone had an obsession over me, I would be creeped out and stayed away from them as much as possible. Her unhealthy obsessions with her favorite actor and fictional character are why this topic exists and why others made fun of her.
It also doesn't help the fact that Jiminy Cricket as a character has a very human-like design for someone who's supposed to be an anthropomorphic insect, which may be why this chick got attracted and obsessed with him so much. I bet if he looked more like a real cricket with a more bug-like design, then he wouldn't attract fangirls like her as much.
I remembered one time that she said that she doesn't ship Jiminy Cricket with herself, but rather with a OC (original character) she made that's a female cricket and different person than her real-life self and claims that her "character" has just the same name as her, claims that she loves her family more than her beloved Jiminy, and claims that her Cliff Edwards pictures are no more than tribute art. I think she is trying to rewrite history, which is also wrong. It is better to be honest and not lie.
Seeing all of this drama makes me glad that I'm not a Disney fan. Now, I always have wondered how she would react if she saw her beloved Jiminy die by either splattering on a wind-shield of someone's car at high speeds, sprayed with Raid or get eaten by a gecko? I did
find a satire drawn by another DeviantArt user, which gave me a good laugh. I know it's not nice to make fun of others, but some people can't help but bring constructive criticism to another user in order to help get a user out of an unhealthy obsession and face reality.
I'm hoping that she changed for the better now that she deactivated her account which became old news by now as I've said earlier. Rumor is that she is
Luna-Wolfmoon or
Crystal-LunaWolf97 now, but I'm still not quite sure if that's her or not. The style looks similar and happens to be from the same location (United Kingdom), so who knows.
Honestly, there are much better things to do in life than having an unhealthy romantic relationship with a fictional character. Such as working out, taking a walk in the park, going to the beach, spending time with family, playing video games, eating good food... This list can go on.
Sure, I happen to have a few favorite fictional characters myself, but I like them for who they are, don't have unhealthy obsessions with them, and I would never consider any of them as my lover or anything, because they're all fictional and they either already have love interests in their series or just prefer to be single/alone and not be in a relationship at all. I wish some people would feel the same way with their favorite characters. After all, learning is the best medicine.
