She was already like that a few years ago. She moderated Jermas chat with an iron fist and pushed her viewpoints on it. Jerma finally had to de mod her to get her to stop.
 
I forgot this thread existed, but I've recently gotten more into Jerma and have been watching vods on YouTube of things that interest me, and I don't understand how I never watched him sooner. Super funny and seems like genuinely good guy.
 
Been watching a lot of Jerma shit lately and it is great fun. I've known about him forever considering I used to watch Star's stuff way back, but I never watched his own stuff. Also, I find it funny that Jerma has a sizable (in relation to other large twitch streamers) audience of lets call them "Based and Redpilled" people.

Speaking of Star did anyone watch the new video he put on his YouTube channel? I stopped watching when he literally started crying because he gets mean comments about not doing what he used to do and how he changed. It really pissed me off and was just really gay. People don't have jobs and are infected with the china virus right now and this dude has the audacity to woe-is-me sob in a pre-recorded video about mean comments.

I saw it and I liked it. Basically, he explains what's been going on and what he wants in the future.
I think you're way off the mark on both his intent and the context, in the moment you're referring to he got emotional for like 5 seconds when addressing some unhealthy thought processes he was going through. It had literally nothing to do with "mean comments". In the broader context of the video he addresses the sentiment that he betrayed or let down the autistic TF2 manchildren but not to cry about it. That wouldn't even make sense, none of this is news to him or anyone else. What's new is him being this direct about what he wants to do and be in spite of it, and that's the part that's kind of heavy and hits him hard in the moment.

Back on the topic of Jerma, I hope they play something together again sometime soon. There's a natural comedic formula to their personalities when paired together and given a task.

He mentioned last year that Star is writing a DnD campaign for them to play. It hasnt really been mentioned since and they have a bad history with flaking on DnD so who knows.

Feel kinda bad for Star. He was never able to transition completely from being a TF2 guy like jerma did. I also feel like the whole tryhard persona isn't great to have if gaming is your "job", I watched parts of his overwatch streams a couple years back and he seemed frustrated all throughout. Maybe the joke was that he gets mad, but he doesn't play it over the top enough to be funny imo. Hope his family is doing well.
 
I discovered Jerma about 6 months ago and I can't remember how it was before now. The guy is effortlessly funny and charming. And that carnival stream?? Innovative as fuck. How is he not one of the top streamers?

As someone who's been watching Jerma for nearly 6 years, I honestly prefer Jerma being a "somewhat" niche streamer.

Everything niche is more fun. "Too many cooks ruins the dish" is a phrase for a damned good reason.
 
I fell asleep watching an archive of his coin game stream. Last thing I remember was him doing the one where he shot balls up into the spiral while getting more and more frustrated. Woke up maybe five hours later to him telling chat that NO!, he won't stop playing ball-spiral-game until he gets the jackpot. Turns out that he didn't play that one the whole time but I thought it was really funny.

Well, this didn't age well. Jerma in his most recent stream had people spamming the trans pride emote and he went on a small rant about how he gets annoyed when he sees people say it in chat and then some people say transphobic slurs or just other unwanted shit. The same people also try to argue that "Well they spam the emote" and Jerma mentions that he's going to crack down on emote spam, but he's not gonna tolerate people harassing and DMing other members in the chat for saying "trans rights".

Of course, Jerma doing this resulted in like 3 or 4 threads on /v/ where they claim Jerma has gone too soft and now he's an SJW (he isn't but good luck convincing 4chan of anything).
