Jeffree is showing his age, I don’t think the porn industry even uses fluffers anymore (they just look at online porn).

Why is “money shot”, “happy ending”, and “I’m close” all brown shades while the white ones are wasted on “vanilla latex” and “I’m shy”? Is naming a white shade after cum too much for even him?

Back when Illamasqua made nail polish they had a creamy, off white shade called Load.

His Summer makeup stuff is called the "Orgy Collection." It's a nude palette.

Fucking gross. I can't stand makeup brands who insist on explicit names like this. It's so tacky. I've seen some makeup brands do nude palettes with a little bit of a "risque" vibe to them (TheBalm's "Nude 'Tude" palettes come to mind), which is fine ... But something as explicit as "ORGY" is just ... Ick! No thank you!

There's going to be kids/teenagers who are going to be taking selfies with this damn palette, considering Jeffree Star's audience. This is even worse timing than releasing the "Cremated" palette during a pandemic, considering all of the Shane Dawson shit. Amazing.
its also a big “fuck you” to beauty youtubers who want to make reviews of the palette because their videos will 100% get demonetized with the word orgy in the title or when they say it in the video. meanwhile his reveal video will probably stay monetized because he has the clout with youtube.

its not as ugly as conspiracy, not as bad as cremated, but still pretty boring and not worth the $68 when there are already hundreds of affordable nude palettes out there.

wow it looks like the most boring shades of the last 20 wet'n'wild palettes put together. pathetic

his audience are teens who think bragging about sex makes them edgy and cool, and old fag hags with dead bedrooms who wear penis googles at bachelorette parties
of course they're gonna be like "tee hee penis"

tfw no cummies

I wish he'd go back to crazy colors like in the Jawbreaker palette. Maybe glittery pastels and neons. You can hardly distinguish between those whites/browns when they're on the face, they're only there to accommodate different skin undertones, so if you buy this you're only really using half of it if anything. And fwiw, BeautyBay already has this for half the price.

i don't know why y'all want him canceled. he's a very prolific cow, not only is he retarded but he is also very provocative. both the fans and antis sperg continually, much like with amber or onion man

sorry for quoting this delayed (I don't check this thread often) I myself don't particularly want Jeffree canceled, because like you said he brings up a lot of good drama to the table, even when he isn't stirring the pot his fans do it all for him. I'm just more impressed that in this cancel culture and rabid frothing for justice points that he's been able to maintain his success for this long. i follow him in the aspect of that I'm interested in how far he'll go lmao

on the current topic though, I'm not surprised Jefree is playing it safe with a nude pallet. iirc his one pallet cremate (I think?) got a lot of flak for him releasing it in the amidst of so many covid deaths happening around the world, so he probably wants to please everyone especially with all the flak he's gotten lately too

I know that people said the Cremated Palette was uninspired ... But this? You can't get any more boring than this.

The Cremated Palette at least had some shimmery/metallic eyeshadows that complimented each other. Plus, cool-toned eyeshadow palettes aren't nearly as common as people think, so the Cremated Palette had a nice color story, IMO. The huge turnoff with that palette was that Jeffree put his ugly face all over the packaging. lol.

This ... This just looks flat. An all matte nudes palette? Hello, chalk city. It really wouldn't be so bad if those gross names weren't plastered all over. Imagine using this as a makeup artist on a client on their wedding day: "Now let me line your eyes with the shade, Glory Hole; it'll make your eyes pop as you walk down the isle!"

I remember when NARS "Orgasm" and "Deep Throat" blushes were really popular. I never bought them because I hated the names ... But at the very least, 10 years ago, Sephora was still considered to be the "Makeup Store for Grownups." Gross names, but at least they were targeted at adults. It blows my mind how a full face of makeup has become such a norm for kids these days; I see kids running around Sephora all of the time now, and I hate it. We all know that kids are going to want this new Jeffree Star eyeshadow palette, and it just creeps me the hell out, man.

I mean, I find it entertaining that the beauty community leaches can't make money off reviewing his products now after whining about him for months.

Right. I can't stand these drama channels or beauty YouTubers who act all outraged by Jeffree Star, but then make a zillion videos about him and Shane Dawson, and make money from doing so.

Like, they're no better than the likes of Jeffree.

I just find the names stupid and try-hard.

"Ooh, a shadow named Butthole! How edgy! This will really piss off mom and dad!"

Boring. You're 35, Jeffree. Act like it, for fucks sake. Everyone knows you have sex, get over yourself.

Me too.
I spent some time with someone about a decade younger than me over the weekend while she and some other people were in my town. One of the mornings when we were all meeting up I saw her without makeup. She looked fantastic, legitimately a really pretty person, but she REFUSED to even go out for coffee without a full face of makeup and winged eyeliner.

I was allowed to start wearing SOME makeup at 13, none of my friends or I started wearing a full face until we got into high school in the late 70s.
I love makeup, it's fun to play with colors and hide pimples and other faults, but to see 12 and 13 year old girls wearing heavy foundation, winged liner, false lashes, and contouring products is jarring to me. At least the drag-style makeup is on its way out.

This looks so off brand that i thought it was a naked collab. Kinda hilarious how he just "i'm sorry blm anyways im dropping new stuff soon xoxoxo" and decided some boring color story done to death over and over again. I truly hope this one doesn't give him as much attraction but knowing his fans he'll sell out in twenty minutes

Y'all the 'orgy' pallet is meant to do a couple things. 1. It establishes J* Cosmetics as a full collection. You grab Orgy and an accent pallet. Boom..All J* and you no longer are looking for browns elsewhere which he just hasn't done yet. Is it simple? Duh. Now the key is the number 2 reason. Look at the equal positioning between light and darker colors. Totally equal. Often times you will get a larger variety of lighter shades but with J*'s pallet he made it entirely spread even.

"J* favors white people..well then why did he make 60% of Orgy for darker skin tones"...it is another missle in the Silo of 'Anti Racism' that anyone doing public relations in 2020 needs. It also just makes sense imo to not favor lighter skin tones because often enough most people are not matching their 'Shade' but end up creating a slightly toned shade for their make up look.
I'm not really into make up but Jeffree is about to have people existing in his ecosystem of make up like Apple did.

Most brands have at least one all-neutral palette. This isn't Tarte cosmetics where every single palette launch is practically the same (nude/neutral/basic).

It appears to be all matte which is an odd choice because even as an accent palette nobody on earth needs that many matte transition shades. A variety of finishes (like Cremated had) would've been better imo but who knows maybe it was a question of being cheaper to manufacture if they're all matte? Businesses are struggling out here and I know J is rich but you don't get/stay rich by not counting your pennies when it comes to the cost of doing business.

I don't think it's a "bad" palette. It's true that pretty much nobody NEEDS it. But for kids and hags who collect J* it will be a nice addition to their collections.
