Knowing a little bit about the business, it’s not entirely impossible that a photographer photoshopped it away for innocent reasons.

Getting a clearer shot/getting rid of visual clutter, etc.

I mean, it’d be right on the borderline on what’s accepted practice as opposed to photo manipulation, but it’s a possibility.

What speaks against it is (among other things) that most photographers are pretty good with photoshop and would do a better job unless they’re really fucking rushed.
