For anyone doubting the ability to self-hang in a jail cell, it's a well-documented phenomena in Micronesia where teens were suiciding by hanging themselves with neckties on doorknobs on their knees over bullying/love/hormonal teen shit in the 60's and 70's. If you have the will to die, it doesn't take much. The real question is his mindset & circumstances.

• He lived a crazy good life, trial was going to be hell for years in his old age, goes out on own terms
• He wanted to live, but was pressured to kill himself or he was going to be tortured to death slowly by fellow inmates who'll kill him with their dicks by making his ass bleed out for a year's worth of cigarettes
• He didn't suicide, and was instead killed and made to look like it was suicide

I could buy him seeing suicide as the best way out, but the coincidences stacked on top of one another really give me the Big Thunk.

Taken off suicide watch when suicide really looks good for him, roommate removed from new cell shortly after being taken off suicide watch, 3 hour camera malfunction, guards asleep, prisoner reports of screaming. The camera malfunction he could not know about, and I wonder if he could have known about the sleeping guards. I also wonder how he was screaming while he was strangulating himself.

Nothing to see here, he just used divination magic to learn the absolute best time to kill himself for maximum luminescence.
 
I want to know who the fuck this "unnamed associate" was. Either someone is doing him an unneeded courtesy by obscuring his name, or they actually released a high profile body to a John Doe. Right.
 
So, hang on- I've been involved in corrections in a sort of way- at least detainees.

Every cell has a camera on. And the usual protocol when the cameras malfunction is a complete lockdown, and a guard is putting "eyes on" and doing roving watch. And that means every goddamned available guard is roving up and down, looking in every cell over and over again- and you can bet your ass the first person they put eyes on is the suicidal ones, and they don't take their eyes off- and they will relocate them to a consolidated area with multiple guards watching, if they have to.

So the guards were asleep (all... ten or twenty -thirty of them?)- on a Saturday morning, roughly 30 minutes after shift change and shortly before time to feed the inmates- in of the best-equipped and staffed prisons in the United States. Despite this being cause for the corrections officers to land themselves in a prison, the entire staff just decided to have a little snooze specifically at this time, for over three hours in which the cameras malfunctioned.

And it was during this time that a man who had confirmed to have attempted suicide - not threatened, but actually confirmed attempt- within the last few weeks was inexplicably removed and placed in regular holding.

And despite having zero visibility or confirmation the camera was down, he picked this exact time just out of sheer luck- to kill himself.

Anyone who believes this is a fucking idiot.

Hanging happens a lot in prison and a lot for people with Epstein's specific type of charges. It's certainly something that can be done. Usually soft hanging rather than drop hanging would be how to do it and the concept is you just need to be in a position where if you lose consciousness from blood flow being cut off to the brain, gravity keeps you in that position.

Usually this doesn't break bones. I suppose it can, but that's not how that method works if done correctly. I find it hard to believe someone as intelligent as Epstein supposedly was would do it wrong. It's not like he hadn't had quite some time to contemplate ending up in that situation again and to look up how to do it correctly.

So either he got excessively enthusiastic about it or, possibly, just got outright murdered.

In any event even if he did kill himself how convenient that things were set up perfectly to ensure he had hours to do it.

The frustrating thing is a broken hyoid bone can be broken from elderly hanging victims. 66 is pushing 'old', but it's a possibility that has to be considered.

This conspiracy theory gets thicker and thicker every day, and I'm not feeling good about any of it.

You know...I'm almost starting to believe there's a conspiracy inside the conspiracy. I just can't believe they're this sloopy. I can't even believe we're even getting as much information as we are concerning the case. You'd think they'd let nothing out. Why would they ever let it out that the guards slept through their shift? That the bones in his neck were broken? It's so obvious to the public that he was actually murdered when given these facts. So is it possible they want us to think he was murdered?
Do they get anything out of it?

They just can't be this stupid...

Cops have a high rate of suicide. Without knowing the usual cop suicide rate for the same time period, that statistic means nothing.

And yeah, manner of death is effectively inconclusive. Suicide will be presumed in the absence of evidence that anyone else entered Epstein's cell. Unless he was drugged, though, you'd expect scratches on his neck if someone else strangled him.

Hahaha I have a crazy theory it hinges on two things and bit of a tin foil assumption so take it as just that. All I am saying is perhaps someone higher up the food chain, called in a favor, or they were in on it from the beginning.

Jeffrey Epstein’s gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell isn’t holed up in her British manor or summering on the Massachusetts coast.
The Post found the socialite hiding in plain sight in the least likely place imaginable — at a fast food joint in Los Angeles.

Maxwell, 57, alleged madam to the multi-millionaire Epstein, was scarfing down a burger, fries and shake al fresco at an In-N-Out on Monday while reading, “The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives.”

Maxwell — who was sitting alone with a pet pooch — was surprised she was located and told an onlooker:
“Well, I guess this is the last time I’ll be eating here!”

Maxwell, who is accused in court papers of providing sex slaves for Epstein and even engaging in threesomes with the financier and underage girls, had not been pictured in public since 2016.

Epstein died in jail over the past weekend by apparent suicide while awaiting trial.

On Wednesday, it was reported that she has been living with tech CEO Scott Borgeson in his secluded mansion in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, since 2016, according to a close neighbor.

Maxwell left the residence about “one month ago” when the news of her involvement with Epstein broke, a neighbor told The Post.
Borgerson has flatly denied any romance with Maxwell.

“I am not dating Ghislaine, I’m home alone with my cat,” he told The Post.

When asked about the status of his friendship with Maxwell now, Borgerson replied: “I don’t want to comment on that — would you want to talk about your friends?”

Maxwell reportedly recruited underage girls for Epstein and participated in their abuse. At least two women who accused Epstein of sexually abusing them sued Maxwell in 2015, alleging she launched a campaign to damage their reputations and discredit their allegations.

A new front in the Epstein case opened Wednesday morning as his accuser, Jennifer Araoz, filed a lawsuit against his estate, Maxwell and three unnamed female household staff members.

Araoz alleges she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by Epstein at his New York City townhouse when she was 14 and 15 years old, including a forcible rape in 2002.

She first disclosed her alleged abuse in an exclusive “Today” show interview with Savannah Guthrie on July 10, the same day she filed papers in New York state court, saying she intended to sue Epstein.

The complaint Araoz filed Wednesday alleges Maxwell and the staffers “conspired with each other to make possible and otherwise facilitate the sexual abuse and rape of Plaintiff.”
