Famed actor James Caan has died at the age of 82, his family announced Thursday.
Caan, known for his performances in films such as “Brian’s Song,” “Misery” and “Elf,” was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as Sonny Corleone in “The Godfather.”

I liked his methodology in acting. At least he lived a long life.

My parents actually wanted to go to Las Vegas when i was younger, and it was all due to James Caan being on this mildly popular TV show on NBC.

Thanks for at least keeping my parents together through thick and thin, Mr. Caan. I’ll remember your character on this show through spirit.
