Yeah I like it when Thunderdome threads go from me and some conservatives dudes at each others throats and then a couple pages later we're all shooting the shit joking around. Love that about the farms.

There was a recent post in the ’Alec Baldwin shooting’ thread that was basically a low effort ripoff of the Bill Murray Shopping copypasta.
It was basically about Baldwin loudly playing and wanting to do karaoke of ‘Happiness is a warm gun’ by the Beatles, in a restaurant, with Halyna Hutchens’ husband and son in attendance.

It wasn’t clever, it wasn’t insightful, it wasn’t imaginative, and worst of all, it wasn’t funny. Because the song is gun themed, and Alec Baldwin shot someone. Do you get it? Huh? Do you? Funny, right?

Would I have deleted the post and banned the poster? No. But I would have tagged the whole thing as the unfunny, low-effort shitpost it was and gone on with my day.

If people want to post /b/ or /pol/ tier shit, they should go to /b/ or /pol/. YMMV.

I'm looking for 2 moderators for the Autism Thunderdome category. This includes Deep Thoughts, Articles & Happenings, and the Happenings board. I usually never do tryouts and deputize people at random but I don't even know who posts here at this point.

You may nominate yourself but special considerations to third party nominations.

Perks of being a mod:
- You can be the change you want to see in the community.
- Cool badge thing on your profile.
- Users cannot ignore you.*

Burdens of being a mod:
- Users will hate you and openly resent you regardless of what you do or do not do.
- Users will not report posts and then become upset that you do not delete posts that they think cause low quality threads.

In general we need a light touch who is not emotionally invested in "their team" to issue threadbans to keep threads on track, board bans to keep the signal to noise ratio down, and who can FEARLESSLY communicate concerns directly to me.

Use Agree/Disagree on posts nominating people so I can get a feel for things.

Ok, I could do it.

If you vote for me(?), I would only do two things:

1. Merge threads that are basically the same article about the same shit that it's currently happening.
2. Let you all politely insult each other as long is On Topic.

I won't try to overthrown Null and take over Kiwifarms to convert it to Kiwichafarms.

I've known the guy for about 3 years and his """facade""" he puts up on this website is shitposting through and through. He and I were jannies together on a few obscure forums as well as chatrooms and he's always been a pretty level headed guy who can handle a lot being thrown at him at once. He's not heavy on le ebin banhammer xddd and usually would only ban massive faggots from our groups.
So yeah, there's my suckup post. He'd make a good janny.

I would give it a shot because a lot of the problem in the Thunderdome is primarily people getting derailed because of silly arguments that tend to derail threads. I am not emotionally invested in anyone's opinion, more or less am just think that there are considerable improvements that can be made to that section of the forum.

Getting prolapsed by been edge lord levels of autism while wearing a dress may not be most of people's ideal of fun. Maybe I might pull a CIA NIGGER and start fucking trains,planes, and automobiles from the pressure.

Though at least the community knows that this new Janny doesn't have his trapper keeper full of tranny shota and furry diaper balloon porn. My trapper keeper is full of Hitler photos and the protocols or the Elders of Zion to recite as I excerise the power of autism and use my Thor hammer to smite those that glow in the dark.
