They hate music. A culture that hates music in any capacity deserves to be struck from this Earth and demonized for all eternity.

Just how soulless and black-hearted could a person be to follow a religion that bans music? Above all things, you'd think music would be second only to food as something all humans relate to. (Not the type of music itself, just enjoying music.)

Funny thing is that the Middle East have a very rich background on music.
It's so sad when you see a culture destroys itself in the name of religion or some other extreme beliefs

Some of it was being used in legit discussions, like whether or not ISIS were Khawarij (They were anti-Arabic Muslim extremists (for even their own time) who also opposed stuff like stoning adulters and they had actual Sisters of Battle as they believed that it was the holy duty of every woman to fight in Combat. From what I get they're a curse word amongst modern Muslims because of how many Arabic Muslims they killed and so some people call ISIS Khawarij).

I can't help thinking that it would be easy for her outfit to get snagged or grabbed. Also, isn't the wrapping around the head and arms a little too form-fitting?

I've noticed that sexually repressed societies tend to act differently when it comes to their frustrations. Japan prefers to hide away from sex, the Victorians (especially the upper classes) were hypocrites and these guys just take their anger out on others.

It certainly would conflict with mainstream Islam's interpretation of certain things by forbidding absolutely everything, but that's pretty irrelevant since you can't say one branch of a religion is the "true" version anyway. Since their simple and predictable approach is to just fatwah anything that doesn't praise allah ad nauseam, they can avoid conflicting with themselves, and that's all that matters for them.

If mermaids were real, eating them would be horrible, because they have human-level intelligence and, psychologically, pretty much are humans (or at least they tend to get depicted in that way).

I'm rather sure this will not happen. Japan is proud of its exclusive island status. You cannot live there as a foreigner without working or adapting to the culture. While some Muslims who play by the rules might be allowed to immigrate, the creation of huge ghetto-like areas of Islamic lowlifes like in Berlin Neukölln seems pretty much out of the question.
