People are getting sick of Islam, though, not just the alt-right. Polls have revealed that a significant number of Canadians, Europeans, and Americans are suspicious of Islam (and Muslims by extension) and aren't eager to accept the religion in their countries. And honestly, who can blame them? People can spout the "religion of peace" line all they want, but that doesn't erase the thousands of people Islamic terrorists murder every year, nor does it erase the backwards, disturbing views that even many "moderate" Muslims hold (apostates deserve prison and/or death, blasphemy against Islam must be punished, women should be covered and not interact with men, etc).

It's difficult to tell nowadays, given the extreme lengths certain people will go to defend Islam and cultural phenomenons that are connected to it. I have seen dead serious feminists on svpol twitter claim that 15+-year-old refugee child brides living with their spouses in asylum accommodation centers is comparable to Swedish 16-year-olds voluntarily moving out of their homes in order to live with their partners, or that village feuds in Norrland are comparable to clan cultures where women are killed by their male family members for things like having a boyfriend
