My searching results in a little convo but no OP. Have seen a lot of comparisons of Madonna to Pete Burns lately. Pete seems unique in that he turned into a virtual woman without ever "being" trans, and was always just a guy named Pete who looked like a woman. His plastic surgery journey is pretty epic. Personally I would have stopped at the Zsa Zsa Gabor look, but he went on to a full menopausal Michael Jackson. I'm surprised I cannot find a record of him here.

I remember when Pete Burns used to sweep the floor in a hairdressers called Cut Above the Rest. He looked exactly as he did when he got famous (without the surgery, of course.) Pete and his wife lived in the flat opposite my friends. Every Sunday, his mum and dad used to bring them their Sunday Dinner from home, which always seemed like a model of cosy domesticity for someone who looked so extreme.

His wife was a complete pooch.

Yeah him. I never heard the big song, Spin Me Round or whatever, until the Wedding Singer. Then lately the press says Madonna's new look is like him. Honestly, Madonna's gross physical journey is nothing compared to Mr. Burns'. He once looked like a normal dude with crazy New Wave style. Then he looked like a woman. Then he looked like something else entirely.

Just image search 'pete burns.' Let me repeat, I'm only posting cause it's a surprise there's no thread on this dude. But, whatever. Maybe a quick web search is all there needs to be seen of this disco dilettante. Sorry to waste anybody's time.
