Legally speaking no, the law changes were formalised into regular law and covid is the new norm...

The Virus? That shit never happened to begin with, just the regular flu me thinks.

The 2019 novel coronavirus is real, but media sensationalism took root harder than it ever did historically. ((They've)) been trying to scare people for decades with shit like SARs, Swine flu, Bird Flu, etc and it was Covid-19 that took root because of it's exceptional rate of transmission.

The funny thing is that coronavirus is washed away like flu: just wash your hands, cover your mouth, and don't touch your face. Unfortunately, the average person (especially Americans) are pretty fucking stupid and made the situation worse than it needed to be to the media's delight.

Boomers, the covid-vulnerable class and those in political power, are who brought us the lockdowns. Boomers, who don't understand the hard work and logistics that allows society to function, still assuming things will work out fine because they believe magical fairies stock supermarkets or that wagies aren't real humans, brought lockdowns. Only to be surprised when they could no longer buy yearly ipads for christmas and frivolous cruises. Remember the early scares were cruise ships: the quitessential boomer travel traps.

We learned nothing from this event, and what is worse is that people have the "boy who cried wolf" mindset, disregarding any measures to prevent illness because they believe covid isn't real. Healthcare has monsters in making called "superbugs" which can't be sprayed away with your average lysol or bleach. Naysayers think they are safe, but they have doomed us all against the real harm that could come our way.

A few hospitals are still holding on to mask mandates, but a large number of major hospitals are starting to drop them. Hospitals are the last holdouts for covid cultists, and they're finally throwing in the towel with a few exceptions.
