In 2017 I watched a YouTube video about someone who had his channel terminated because he was recording the moon and his camera caught ripples in the moon. There was also a time YouTube went offline in 2018 where people blamed it 2 of either things, one being a bunch a Pakistanis while another suggest a recording of the moon malfunctioning or exploding.

No, obviously not. If it was a hologram why would all the big corporations want to fire chunks of it ("moon rocks") into the gravity well of the Earth to kill people? Like, actually think about this shit for a second.

The moon cannot be a hologram it has been proven to be made of cheese.

The moon isn't a hologram, but rather a reflection of the Earth on the Firmament. The ripples on the moon you saw in the video were probably ripples on the Waters above the Firmament, and you saw the ripples as it affected the Moon's reflection.

Inb4 "why doesn't the moon look like Earth then"

Because 1) the light we see from the moon is millions of years old since its a reflection, and 2) the world is way bigger than what is on the maps, the landmasses of "Earth" are inside a crater on the "moon". This is why "Earth is flat" and "the world is round" are both technically correct statements. Also hollow Earth is legit too, but that's a whole other rabbit hole.
