Where's abroad for you? A friend of mine studied in England. He hates the weather and the English but he did academically pretty well.

i mean if you're going to pay for school anyway then you're just doing that except somewhere else, it's not a trick
(though tbh I've seen way more scholarships where I am for overseas than local study, it'd probably be cheaper if you don't suck and land one of those)

travel really does open up your brain tubes and if you go somewhere real weird it'll make life a challenge which is also good for not being a little bitch

And unless you have a decent-paying job off the bat, I don't think they'll be happy footing your rent
