Is Positive actually Negative?

So the reaction scores have been changed to a general Positive or Negative value. But irl if you are considered Positive, that means you have contracted something, either physically (e.g. your beguile was “pozloaded”), or mentally (e.g. modern gaming is “pozzed”), and if you are Negative, this means that you are clean and pure. Does this mean that a Positive rating on Kiwifarms is actually a Negative thing, and vice versa?! Discuss.
