is Mario Kart 8 worth it?

so there's been rumors this might go on sale soon for the Switch. I do feel like I should have a kart racer but I dunno if it should be this one specifically. I like the original SNES Mario Kart but I've never stuck with the series.

Asking here because KF is probably the one place I won't be swarmed with Nintendo fanboys.

I was about to say, Mario Kart 8 is the Wii Sports of the Switch nowadays, bundled with the console.

It's pretty fun, yeah. The different speeds all feel a little unbalanced, though.

Is Mario Kart 8 worth it?

If you know how to jailbreak your Nintendo Switch and not care about Nintendo’s online policies, then Mario Kart: Double Dash on an emulator would be a good choice.

Play Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed if you're looking for something different. It's insanely underrated.

Even without the dlc, it is one of the mario kart games with the most content, the mechanics are incredibly polished and fun, most of the tracks are great, its still one of the best 4 players split screens out there, and the online is still super active.
Yeah it is worth it imo.

Yeah definitely get Mario Kart 8 on the Switch. You can play for hours and not see every one of the original tracks. And for 25 bucks/Nintendo Online you can get 48 more tracks on top of that. It's a lot of fun with friends and a few beers or on a lazy Sunday morning. Consider this product and/or/ lifestyle today!
