Is Jerry Seinfeld funny?

He's on tour and in a few months he's doing a show near me. I live in an area with no big names coming through, so he's not going to be here again. But the ticket is half a weeks income, and it's a 5 hour drive to see the show. Is it worth the effort to see a guy I mostly know from the bee movie?

Not really. His stand up is the kind of lame jokes you’d find on popsicle sticks as a kid. Even his Seinfeld show (which I do/did like) was only really funny because of Larry David and the supporting cast, not Jerry himself.

In his prime, he wasn't that bad but he laid down the formula for every two-bit observational comedian of the modern era.

2. Make a crap analogy
3. Continue the analogy with a follow up joke

No. Seinfeld was never funny, but Kramer was hilarious and people only remember him more as a comedy childhood favorite than of whatever Seinfeld tryhard to be "funny". Costanza will always be a GOAT.
