"A former satanist who is now a pastor" is an immediate red alert that the content you're consuming is full of shit.
Halloween is derived from a Christianized version of a pagan holiday anyway.
I'm too tired to double check right now but I'm pretty sure that much like Easter and Christmas, a lot of the weird seemingly nonsense tradition stuff ties back to the fusing of several holidays into a new one for convenience.

Seriously though to prove Halloween being "satanic" is bullshit you literally just have to look at the more proper name for it, which is "all hallows eve". It's literally the prequel Holdiay for "all saints day", the one that comes a day after nobody but religious people celebrate. "Ex satanist" my ass! Nobody who's even marginally knowledgable in religious stuff jumps to "HALLOWEEN IS SATAN!!!" without some form of goal of causing fear and conflict.

I don't think it matters in and of itself, its all about your intention.

I've heard others make much more valid points against Halloween than this guy.

The concept of saints is satanic though

Incorrect. It was a Jewish holiday first. The pagans Co opted it, catholics corroborated this corruption with their "all saints day" bullshit

All Saint's day is after Pentecost
All Saints Day is on november 1st, pentecost is on the 50th day after easter. Yes, it's after pentecost, but Halloween comes between the two and is directly before All Saints Day.
Halloween and Christmas are weirdly 2 christian holiday traditions people that aren't even christian got in on celebration wise overtime. the latter one is especially odd because it's made to commemorate Jesus' birthday (though it technically isn't on his birthday but they fused two holidays together to create the modern era Christmas we know so it's that day now because reasons) More than likely due to local community bonding and people finding the concept of giving each other some kind of gift cool than anything else.

Would you believe that there are other rites of Christianity than latin?

Anyway, I think we can both agree that modern halloween is so divorced from anything Christian that the only way to celebrate it in good faith is by going to Church. It falls on St. Luke's feast day after all.
