is facebook dead?

a phrase commonly uttered among the youth is facebook is for old people and recently with the rebranding to meta and the start of the metaverse its been in free fall its been losing users at record pace and the stocks are skyrocketing down

but despite this facebook still remains the most used social media site and also owns 3 other popular sites dominating the competition

so why is it despite zucks failings and despite the bad rep facebook gets is it considered dead and is facebook really dead and these numbers bullshit or is zuck the winner and we the fool for not using facebook and the metaverse

Its on deaths door, the current userbase is dying and young people think its for old people. At this point Instagram is going to subsidize Meta

I stopped using it around 2013. Never had an Instagram or WhatsApp account. Honestly surprised its still as popular as it was a decade+ ago. If nothing else, I'm sure it (and the MSN comment sections) are a great place to see humanity at its most retarded.

Don't currently use any of the Meta platforms myself, mom has a Facebook account and Facebook friends so I think it's more popular with older generations.

yeah thats what the data said its the 30 to 60 range they get and like said earlier whatsapp and instagram are big hits with zoomers
