If he spent half as much time working on a cure for lupus as he did sperging out about it maybe lupus would have been cured and Spoony would never have had to suffer so. Some doctor!

He was a crusader against the unjust bias a nebulous autoimmune disease encounters as a catchall any time the body seems to be self-imploding. He demanded his staff imagine their patients more complexly and prescribe treatment that actually addressed their needs over rushing to conclusions from a privileged perspective of protecting their ego as doctors.

House was a disease rights icon
