Wow, really? I’ve only heard of payments for plasma because it’s used to make blood products and such. A relative used to do it a lot for the cash, though he’s got a big dent in the crook of his arm now.

But regular blood donation is generally going to trauma patients and others who need it, and it usually doesn’t pay. So you’re helping people more directly and getting paid and it’s easier than plasma. I say go for it.
