The Red Cross let faggots donate blood now, so I don't know what point you are trying to make about the safety of their blood supply. Also every hospital in the US has the equipment to take blood donations. The reason they only take ~5% of the donated blood supply themselves is because the Red Cross ponzi scheme has psyopped 45% of the American people into thinking that the Red Cross is the only way to donate blood. Hell community-based blood centers account for 50% of the blood supply and those are primarily in areas that are too poor to afford the Red Cross' massive markup on a product they got for free.
I'm going to be polite and explain this slowly since you clearly live up to your user name.
"The Red Cross lets faggots donate blood now" is such a lazy and stupid reduction as to what the reality is.
The Red Cross did not come out and say "we want faggot blood." The reality is that the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration, changed their standards and regulations as to what blood is accepted. Why the FDA was put in charge of that is anyone's guess but I digress.
Here is an article from Harvard that goes over the changes and the thinking for it. If you'd like there is plenty more articles from both Blood Donation orgs and other journals and outlets that discuss this as well. I chose this one due to how succinct it is.
If reading scares you I will highlight the most important information:
The rules are still in place for HIV/AIDS that you are unable to donate. To extrapolate further the Red Cross, actually no I'm gonna take a guess and say
every blood donation organization tests their donations not just for HIV but Hepatitis and several other diseases which spread through the blood. Your odds of getting dirty blood are essentially the same now as they were before.
Thinking about it in the past it was on an honor system. What was to stop a gay man from just walking in and saying he was straight? If they're walking in and admitting they had sex with a man it allows for that person to be filed in the system better than before. It's not like they ask you to provide video evidence of your bedroom so they know who you're sleeping with.
On to your next point. The hospital argument is extremely stupid. Just think about it for a minute: If EVERY hospital has the ability to take donations why would they instead go to orgs like the Red Cross that overcharge? The reality is that next to no hospitals have the facility space to operate a donation center at the hospital the same way these outside organizations do. The idea of walking anywhere between 40-100 additional people through the hospital every day to draw blood is extremely inefficient and unsustainable. They can hardly keep their normal staff filled imagine trying to add 5-10 phlebotomists. There is a reason why the Red Cross was even able to get to the poin where they could get in trouble for overcharging for blood, something that I believe they are still having funds garnished for to this day. If hospitals were able to get their own blood you wouldn't see orgs like the Red Cross or America's Blood Centers handling it.
Your final point about
community blood centers is your own input and not necessarily true.
Using "Detroit, Michigan" as a search option you have to switch to a 200 mile radius just to find a location you could donate at. It's a complete nonargument to say one org donates explicitly more to poor areas than the other, especially considering the upcharge issue was settled and the Red Cross is paying for it. The Red Cross covers ~40-45% of the total in the US, America's Blood Centers covers according to them 60% other sources have them listed at 50% with hospitals covering 5-7%. Oh and before you run back to your argument of "but muh fag blood"
Every center in the ABC follows the rules of the FDA, which... guess what... is the one that allowed fag blood in. I want it pointed out that they also pay zero for blood donations. I can't speak for hospitals, but this means that 90%+ of all blood donations are freely given, with neither organization providing you money for doing so.
