Like being an organ donor is a scam now since they'll just harvest your skin to give troons shit so is donating blood a scam?

They also stopped doing plasma donations
Plasma donations are stil a thing they’re just tied into Platelet donation. Every other time I go to donate that ask if I’d like to donate plasma as well and if I say yes they weigh me and then fill an additional bag instead of returning the parts to you with the rest of the blood.

Blood donation is not a scam. It’s one of the few things humans can replenish over a period of time with no issues or difficulty. What the people who sperg about not getting paid for it fail to realize is that it requires equipment that has to constantly be replace to prevent contamination, and further equipment to keep blood and blood parts viable so it can get used for something. Sure that bag of platelets I gave away might be worth 100 dollars or whatever but I do not have the ability nor the equipment to draw and separate my blood parts to be able to take it somewhere, and I doubt any reputable hospital or organization would take “independent draws” as the scandal that would surely follow would be a pain in the legal department.

Almost every time you go under you get a bag of blood and platelets put on top of you, some surgeries requiring more. I just hope the fags who say it’s a scam think about that next time they go in for surgery.

The Red Cross let faggots donate blood now, so I don't know what point you are trying to make about the safety of their blood supply. Also every hospital in the US has the equipment to take blood donations. The reason they only take ~5% of the donated blood supply themselves is because the Red Cross ponzi scheme has psyopped 45% of the American people into thinking that the Red Cross is the only way to donate blood. Hell community-based blood centers account for 50% of the blood supply and those are primarily in areas that are too poor to afford the Red Cross' massive markup on a product they got for free.

You should only donate blood if your blood type is O and especially if your Rh factor is negative. Most other types are of limited use. I donated once and felt ill afterwards. My blood type is relatively rare, so I never bothered to donate again. I have never needed a blood transfusion. Blood will be available if I ever need it.

I do not know my blood type and I've never understood how people find out. I've tried asking my GP multiple times and they never told me.

If your doctor won't tell you (I don't understand why that would be) then ask your mother. Mine can rattle off all of the blood types in our nuclear family off the top of her head.

Organ donation works the exact same way except apparently Rh factor doesn't matter. O is the universal donor and AB is the universal receiver, but AB can only be safely donated to another AB.

Organ donation isn't a scam so much as an act of suicide. Read up on it. I won't say it'll get your name stricken off the book of life but it's a conscious decision to tell doctors to kill you.
You can't be paid for blood or plasma donations in my country so FUCK EM. No one prolific in medicine spoke out against vax mandates so FUCK EM. I won't so much donate a hair to cancer patients for the rest of my life. If there were a group that lobbied against medical charities, I would send them money instead.

My Mom doesn't even know what her own blood type is and she's got anemia.

Look yes your doctor will kill you to harvest your organs. But I don't really care. What I care is that they'll kill me then harvest my skin or something to make fake neo cocks for pooners. Which they do.

I'm going to be polite and explain this slowly since you clearly live up to your user name.

"The Red Cross lets faggots donate blood now" is such a lazy and stupid reduction as to what the reality is.

The Red Cross did not come out and say "we want faggot blood." The reality is that the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration, changed their standards and regulations as to what blood is accepted. Why the FDA was put in charge of that is anyone's guess but I digress. Here is an article from Harvard that goes over the changes and the thinking for it. If you'd like there is plenty more articles from both Blood Donation orgs and other journals and outlets that discuss this as well. I chose this one due to how succinct it is.

If reading scares you I will highlight the most important information:
blood rules.png

The rules are still in place for HIV/AIDS that you are unable to donate. To extrapolate further the Red Cross, actually no I'm gonna take a guess and say every blood donation organization tests their donations not just for HIV but Hepatitis and several other diseases which spread through the blood. Your odds of getting dirty blood are essentially the same now as they were before.

Thinking about it in the past it was on an honor system. What was to stop a gay man from just walking in and saying he was straight? If they're walking in and admitting they had sex with a man it allows for that person to be filed in the system better than before. It's not like they ask you to provide video evidence of your bedroom so they know who you're sleeping with.

On to your next point. The hospital argument is extremely stupid. Just think about it for a minute: If EVERY hospital has the ability to take donations why would they instead go to orgs like the Red Cross that overcharge? The reality is that next to no hospitals have the facility space to operate a donation center at the hospital the same way these outside organizations do. The idea of walking anywhere between 40-100 additional people through the hospital every day to draw blood is extremely inefficient and unsustainable. They can hardly keep their normal staff filled imagine trying to add 5-10 phlebotomists. There is a reason why the Red Cross was even able to get to the poin where they could get in trouble for overcharging for blood, something that I believe they are still having funds garnished for to this day. If hospitals were able to get their own blood you wouldn't see orgs like the Red Cross or America's Blood Centers handling it.

Your final point about community blood centers is your own input and not necessarily true.
Detroit.png

Using "Detroit, Michigan" as a search option you have to switch to a 200 mile radius just to find a location you could donate at. It's a complete nonargument to say one org donates explicitly more to poor areas than the other, especially considering the upcharge issue was settled and the Red Cross is paying for it. The Red Cross covers ~40-45% of the total in the US, America's Blood Centers covers according to them 60% other sources have them listed at 50% with hospitals covering 5-7%. Oh and before you run back to your argument of "but muh fag blood"

ABC.png

Every center in the ABC follows the rules of the FDA, which... guess what... is the one that allowed fag blood in. I want it pointed out that they also pay zero for blood donations. I can't speak for hospitals, but this means that 90%+ of all blood donations are freely given, with neither organization providing you money for doing so.
