It's a girl thing. I loved both shows growing up. Daria had the depth Beavid and Butthead did not. My fondest coming of age memory? Sneaking out to a concert at 14, coming home with a contact high, then promptly having my mom kick my ass. There was a Beavis & Butthead marathon on MTV EU running for 24 hours. I watched it till I fell asleep the next morning.

Did any of you even watch the fucking show or movies?
I take issue with OP's initial question - I felt the characters of that show were too nuanced to be shoehorned into one of two binary possible responses to what is inherently a complicated issue (that being troonism)
