So if the argument goes that eating animals is wrong because all sentient life deserves a right to self determination and self preservation, and that animals cannot meaningfully consent to being eaten, does that mean that eating humans who consent is totally kosher? Asking for a friend.
 
No. Veganism is an argument of ethics, albeit a flawed one, and ethical models typically agree that a party cannot consent unless they're sane; sanity is a measure of conformity to social expectation; and current instantiations of society absolutely abhor the idea of consenting to death unless you're unable to contribute to society, e.g. sick, disabled, convicted.

Ergo, consensual cannibalism can't exist, because if you consent to cannibalism, you're insane, and if you're insane, you can't consent to cannibalism.

It's all very silly.
