Yes coffee supposedly has health benefits, especially if you drink it in reasonable amounts with minimal...adulterants.

I have no idea what you niggers are talking about, I just looked it up and moderate coffee consumption seems to be associated with increased heart health. You guys are fucking gay and I'm sick of you spreading ignorance and disinformation. I'm done with it.

an r/atheist??!?!?!?
I think the opposite of an r/atheist would just be a regular emotionally well adjusted person at a healthy weight.

I like the taste but me and caffeine aren’t a great combination. I’ll end up jittery and even more anxious than normal. It doesn’t even seem to make me feel more alert/awake, all it does is prevent me from sleeping. I will occasionally drink decaf.

I may be huffing copium since I drink coffee daily but as long as you aren't drinking Starcucks diabetes shakes or chugging entire pots, coffee is pretty good for you. There's a lot of antioxidents depending on the orgin of the beans and there's some evidence that it's good for colon health. It also decreases the crime rate in my town because it keeps me from stabbing people.

I read through medical publications that coffee and other stimulants help people with attention deficit, much in leu of what meth brings; a more stable and clear mind.

Also, I took coffee since the age of ten and I never got addicted to it through imposed self-control, just a big mug a day is enough. And if you do get addicted, that's honestly a skill issue on your behalf.

Caffeine is life. I don't waste a drop.

I genuinely feel more focused after drinking some coffee, not counting offsetting exhaustion or caffeine addiction. It seems to have a focus boosting effect for me. I know it affects people more positively than others.
Umm, you know why don't you?

coffee and other stimulants help people with attention deficit
There are very few chemicals/compounds that can cross the blood-brain barrier, without help. Caffeine is one, as are those other stimulants. There is a reason why stimulants are the first line treatment, they are literally the only things that can get to the source of the issue.

Short word on my belief as to why they don't work for majority of children, pathways are a thing, if there are insufficient pathways for the chemical to work on, how the hell is it supposed to do everything it needs to. In addition to the stupidity of refusing to trial dexamphetamine, which has a broader platform than methylphenidate.
