Well, God knows he's had enough trolls tell him to get a job. Kacey in particular. He's got his prepared line of "I'm not able to get a job because they do Google searches and the trolls have ruined my reputation. Do the math."
Oh god, I hate that excuse. I've been hearing it for years.

Given how much she was pushing the insurance company for more than they deserved, I'd say any nest egg has long since been spent. That and court costs from the Snyder trial.
Apparently they don't have enough money to even take care of Barb's teeth.
Factor in title changes for any properties and assets, funeral fees, and paying off any debts she may have accrued, It's pretty safe Chris isn't seeing one red cent from Barb after she kicks the bucket.
Oh yeah, I meant Chris making money by milking sympathy from us. If she doesn't die soon, there won't be enough people still interested in Chris stuff to give him that big a boost.

Edit: Like, Barb's debt will suck up all of her estate. Chris is lucky you can't inherit your parents debts. She's got a lot more debt than he does.

I think the problem is that Chris doesn't know where the brick wall is until it hits him in the face. With the eBay stuff, that was something he had few options on. At the workplace there's a lot of ways for him to inadvertently piss off his boss. Also, he may have a hard time after getting chewed out figuring out what is expected instead, unless it is explained to him by someone slowly, step-by-step.

100% chance that whoever he worked for would be deemed transphobic or scared of autistics or some variation on that theme after Chris does something wildly inappropriate.

He still has a long way to go. I don't like the whole lesbian thing, particularly the dress and the hairstyle, I'd rather he go back to having cropped hair and "Mount and Dew Me" and clown shirts, but that's just my subjective opinion.
We all wished he stayed that way.

He only has himself to blame.

Ditto. It's painfully annoying when he pulls that.

The current lull in content is imo just the Calm before the Storm.
in regards to making people and meeting friends at the gay bar, he is only accomplishing this by taking advantage (unwittingly) of the patrons' reluctance to be mean or outcast somebody. The people there do not genuinely enjoy his presence

You know I agreed with this thread until these posts. I can see chris annoying the hell out of a group of lesbians until one of the quiet TERFs in the group basically says what everyone's thinking and tells chris off or expresses her discomfort after chris does some more of that creepy shit. Like his "try me" sisters series of facebook posts. Chris doesn't seem real big into alcohol but he'll drink it and I have the feeling that all it will take for things to go wrong is for someone to hand chris some sort of super boozy drink that tastes like candy and by the time he gets into a 2nd one he's told someone that the soul of his vagina foams at the sight of their body or they get into some weird mother goddess menstruation sister talk and then he shares a story about un-douching his vag-string with axe bodyspray or ... I could come up with this shit all day.
Also I wouldn't put it past chris to try drugs after seeing two super hot girls get down and then discovering that a candy like pill was involved.

That debt is basically uncollectable anyway, or would be if he took the proper steps to protect his :tugboat: money from being levied upon by establishing a segregated bank account for it.
Just curious: are banks allowed to discriminate in loaning to people who derive their income from a :tugboat: for that reason?

Yes.

In fact, arguably, it's illegal for them not to, as a breach of their duty to their depositors and other people they owe a duty of care to. So-called "NINJA" loans that led to the subprime meltdown were made to people with no income, no jobs or assets. Then those loans were packaged into securities as if they were worth any more than paper.

Credit rating is a lot of things. The reason they loan to people like Chris even though many of them will default is that they can charge usurious rates of interest and usually, before the inevitable default, they get their money back and turn a profit on the general population.

So when people decry the fact that people like Chris eventually default, they're really full of it, because generally the credit card company has made a tidy profit, often a multiple of anything they ever originally loaned the defaulter.

He's had it explained to him clearly that Google searches won't stop him from getting a job... Numerous times. He quickly tries to change the conversation each time. It's one of the most unambiguous examples of his bullshit there is.

Chris probably believes that the Google excuse works better than just outright telling people that he has no interest at all in getting any kind of job. And his excuse, no matter how flimsy, is backed up by those "experts" who urge people not to post pictures of themselves partying it up or engaging in any kind of "questionable" behavior (legal or not) on social media where potential employers can supposedly find them.

But since he changed the subject every time it was brought up, it's clearly a sensitive issue for Chris.

Chris doesn't do anything that damages people immediately around him, like stealing.
Has he stopped shoplifting since he started making money with Sonichu?

I don't think bettering society is Chris' responsibility, at all.
I think he has a responsibility to make a reasonable effort to at least meet society half-way. (Normally, I would say he should volunteer or something since he collects a :tugboat: just farts around all day. But now that he kind of does have a job, I wouldn't say he's socially obligated to do anything more.)

I don't think he's ever actually successfully shoplifted, to my knowledge.
Heh, or, I guess I could rephrase that as: "Has he stopped trying to shoplift...?"

He did some "wheeling and dealing", man, which is just as bad as it screwed people out of game codes
Those people could probably complain and get a refund.

But yeah, if Chris avoids shoplifting in the future, it's basically him avoiding blue collar Chris crimes, and sticking to his trusty white collar Chris crimes. I'm not sure which is better.

I think his thing now is committing fashion crimes.

Chris is a hideous so-called Shrek looking transsexual who wears gaudy Goodwill clothing, smells like hobos screwing watermelons and has little regard for human nor animal lest they can serve his whim to some degree. So no, he's not getting better. Is he in jail yet?

Tell you what, I'll set the conditions for a testable/falsifiable experiment which would prove whether or not Chris is getting better.
On the day that Chris says he forgives Michael Snyder and Megan and that he has no more ill will towards them, that can be taken as proof he is improving.

I would consider Chris to be "getting better" once he becomes less self-serving. Even keeping into account the times his own IRL friends and Internet "gal-pals" have betrayed him, he's still selfish and self-centered, with no evidence to the contrary.

It took Chris a long time to get here but he has finally become properly socialized
This would require a bold conclusion: that Chris no longer practically feral.

I don't think we can come to any definitive conclusions until we have stronger evidence that he has at least become potty-trained.
