I found out that nu-Captain Marvel is starting a YouTube channel, and these were the videos that were strangely recommended to me:

The rest of the videos were obviously filled with ad-approved videos from Jimmy Kimmel, Vanity Fair and her randomly eating hot wings for some reason.

I get she’s a Hollywood actress, but does anyone know why she is a lolcow besides the ham-fisted role in Captain Marvel? I apologize for asking the obvious about her, but she is an interesting case study.

Whatever agency that has ownership over Brie Larson realized she's popular with a particular crowd (and nobody else), so they are trying to repurpose her into a means of marketing to that crowd. That makes her a shameless corporate tool, but not an lolcow.
