Radiation could cause a chance mutation that could "stick" and impact the entire body.

So it's remotely possible. Maybe. Like "quantum tunneling" letting you pass through a wall.
 
Black skin is definitely contagious. Every country where black people have been introduced the percentage of non-black people has decreased.
 
The gene for black skin is so dominant that it affects anyone with long term exposure to the carrier. This is because after humans lost all their fur, the ones staying in Africa had to compensate by developing black skin so the powerful, merciless sunlight of the area wouldn't fry them to death.
