I fit the 6 months (celebrating a year soon), guessing the other requirement is TaHF?

Also there's just no reason for anyone to invite anyone new into the site, is there? Anyone who's been here longer than 6 months has already spoken about the site to the kind of friends they'd want to join anyway. Still a good idea, though.

And yeah it would make Null some nice cash flow if he charged for new registrations, but remember guys that he's the same dude who apologized for having us use a captcha once. Our doggo leader is too pure to fleece the newbies. He's the anti-Lowtax
 
Well, I managed to find a post describing how to get into the secret forum, but it's labeled classified so I'm not sure I should spill the beans... I only feel ok linking it because it's in the secret forum itself and I figure anyone not allowed to see it will be permission walled. Oh and I deliberately fucked with the url to remove any identifying words from it.

I guess without giving out the exact criteria, I'd just say:
  1. Be active
  2. Be useful in some way, whether it be amusing or informative
  3. Don't lurk like some copyright troll who is just here to dmca the ho ho holocaust
  4. Remember you can't access the invitation system until you hit 6 months anyways, so if you aren't there yet don't rush it and just return to step 1

They aren't missing much anyway. Its mostly joke threads.
I think I've posted in there maybe twice since getting added.

And who wants to invite people to KF? lol

Start small and you'll get in eventually! You don't have to dance like a monkey, discover a new lolcow, or get any highlighted posts. Really, just become a part of the community :)

Maybe begin in the Introduction Thread or Q&A Subforum. You shouldn't need to do anything special to fit in there.

I mostly lurk but I do "react". Is that considered active? I can invite people but I don't think I'm known by anyone well enough to randomly receive an invite

Editing to add, I just want to be able to search for a post but I can't access the search feature... I can access the forum though

For the purposes of the super secret classified definition of active, you'll need to do more than react. The people around page 6 who thought it was tied to points were going in the right direction, the things that get you in do give you points. Farming points will get you in eventually.

The problem is that the magic numbers that grant you points and the magic numbers that grant you access to the secret forum and allow you to invite people are different, so it's hard to just say "Oh get that achievement and you'll be good". It's more like... Work towards that achievement, but you can give up halfway through. Or get that other achievement and keep on going just because.
