I'm looking to send a single invitation to a person I know will like this website, yet I have 0 invitations to give out. Is there a certain requirement threshold unspecifie or is it because this system is so new?
 
We can give out invitations to our offline friends now? I'd like to keep this place as far away from my real world life as possible, thanks.
 
Are we ultimately responsible for the people we invite @Null ?

For instance, will there be consequences if the person you invited turns out to be a complete spastic?
 
I am suddenly glad I made a point of getting out of lurking and actually join, now if I had friends to invite. I tried to get my father in but he says we are a bunch of liberals.
 
Even if I had a friend who wanted to join I wouldn't invite them as I'd be doxxing my username.

Even if I knew people who wanted to join it would be don't ask don't tell. Don't ask me what my username is and don't tell me yours.

I would assume Null sends @SIGSEGV to your house irl to have a serious chat with you.

More seriously, it would be a way to keep track of lurking troons and other cows who would probably invite themselves under their current account, eventually inevitably get banned, then just start up again on that new account and so on so forth. If there is a chain of bans from invite to invite like that, Null will be able to see what's going on and cut it off at the source.

Or it could be used as a strike system. If you invite one tard, well, everybody makes mistakes. Two... mods will probably keep an eye on you just in case. And three? Well, if you keep inviting retards, even if you have nothing to do with their faggotry, you clearly have terrible taste in people and should probably be stopped from inviting more of them til you learn your lesson.

If you yourself aren't causing a ruckus, I doubt you'd be full on banned. But at that point @Dyn is allowed full edit access to all your posts.

I want this to be an actual punishment, that would be horrifying in the best ways imaginable.
