An eagle-eyed Amico watcher spotted a couple of interesting things about the Quick Start Guide. Note the red lines around the edges of the guide. There is also a typo that's unintentionally hilarious.

Tommy never created the oof sound. It was created by someone else in his company. Tommy end up deleting that tweet after it was bought up on the amico reddit 2 years later. It like how Tommy claim he did the soundtrack for Metroid Prime when in reality he only did a blaster sound effect that was left in the game.

INTV just dropped an announcement about the Amico in an Amico-related FB group.

tl;dr:
- Amico will no longer be available from GameStop
- The Amico will now only be available in Galaxy Purple or Vintage Wood Grain finish
- Prices for new pre-orders now starting at $289.99 for an Amico with one controller, or $339.99 for two controllers
- No deposit is required for new pre-orders
- Cancelled GameStop pre-orders will be honoured at the old $299.99 for two controllers price point

The remaining Tallarico/INTV cultists are reportedly celebrating this announcement in one of their FB hugboxes (at least according to r/Intellivision_Amico).

They’re gonna find a vast audience of consumers too stupid to spend $10 extra bucks for a Switch. Celebrating this news is like celebrating because the doctor was able to save two of your fingers after a silo explosion.
 
Going through some screenshots and I forgot to post this: in January 2021, I saw a paid ad on YouTube for the Amico:

For fun, one way of looking at that statement is it's him saying Amico will sell as much as PS2, NGC, and XB combined.
 
Can’t wait for those cultists to start adopting “it was the friends we made along the way” mindset once it’s definitively announced that the console won’t be coming out. I didn’t follow the Ouya and Coleco Chameleon sagas. Were the top brass and fans just as delusional with those as they are with this?

Don't know much about the Coleco Chameleon, but the top brass for Ouya were very delusional.
