Clothing and internet are neccesities, but new, expensive clothing is not, and free internet is available just about everywhere. Libraries, fast food restaurants, coffee shops, college campuses... oh yeah. Just forget that last one. Oops
 
ummmm... Clothing is a necessity, I don't know about internet being a necessity, addictive as it is. Unless you're using it to get a job, which I don't see warped going for.

Or maybe I'm just old and remember in my day, we didn't have internet, we a had telephone boxes.... and we had to walk 15 miles in the snow

Warped has been getting necessities from her parents for a while now. During Christmas all that was said so far was;
"instead of giving me my christmas money, my cunt mother spent it. deliberately went out and spent it on things i specifically said i didn’t want. because she wanted things to wrap, because she wanted an excuse to go shopping, to spend money, because she can’t tolerate giving me even that much control over my life."

It also looks like she has no idea how to get a refund for the things.

Good question.

I guess she just has to grow up. Because if she doesn't get a job, how is she going to get money? I doubt her parents have an endless supply of money, and even if they did, it's their money not hers, and they only have so long to live.

Disability isn't working for her apparently, and her only other choice is to marry someone well off, and considering her behaviour I don't see that ending well. She'd probably be abusive to him.

I wonder how'd she feel about migrating to China, if she really wants to move overseas. Religion is kind of taboo there, so little in the way of "conservatives" but there's also no freedom of speech. Youtube, facebook, twitter, tumblr are blocked; they are "propaganda websites". You don't get a pension, you have to work. Or beg.

I'll admit to saying cunt and calling people cunts, but I'll be damned if I ever used it towards my mother. She's supporting this ungrateful little shit, feeding her, keeping her dressed and online, and probably pays for the care of her 'service dog'. I really, really wish the mom would just kick her out and see how long she lasted.
 
So...what's stopping her from walking to the post office then and mailing it out? Self-entitlement and a lack of $300 boots is my guess.

I think you just answered your own question there.

Don't forget, after that drunken friend fondled her breasts, he was moving his hand down her pajama pants wanting to finger her, but she switched positions and cut him off. So it could have legitimately been a lot worse for her if he had succeeded, or if he decided to push even further ahead.

Why hasn't she been kicked out?! If my daughter treated me like shit I would throw her out. I mean I would love her still but no. You don't treat the person who gave birth to you like she is stupid!

I would think that decriminalizing it rather than legalizing it would prevent this, because you can’t tell people do go do something that isn’t legal. But people also believe in the slippery slope–if we decriminalize, we’ll just end up legalizing it eventually, and this will happen.

So how much of the opposition is because of this?

Not sure how that'd work out. Can these job placement programs force someone to be conscripted into the military? That's "a job," albeit one that has more risks than your average one, and one that many people would oppose for various reasons. Similarly with sex work, maybe one could be forced to mop floors or count money in a brothel, but a government agency forcing people into prostitution would surely create an international outrage.

On the other hand, there are probably people in the "overly sex-positive" crowd who wouldn't understand what the big deal is there. I once received an ass-chewing from such persons for complaining about a couple of bawdy gentlemen bragging about their escapades with possibly underage third world prostitutes. I was told with a straight face that "There is nothing shameful about sex work" and "Human trafficking in the sex industry is just a myth created by religious groups to delegitimize sex work."
