Do what you need to do Null I enjoy this site and part of me wishes I'd have joined earlier hopefully if you do decide to hand over the rains hopefully someone will be there to pick them back up. To echo what others have said I definitely recommend speaking to a therapist prehaps they can provide guidance.

As a lurker turned poster, it was fun to see this website go from being a place dedicated to the antics of a 30+ year old autistic man and his Sonic/Pikachu hybrid recolor to a site that documents numerous eccentric people and communities. All while providing a place for people to express themselves without getting buttfucked for wrongthink. So much has changed over the last six years since I had officially signed up.

Thank you for keeping this crazy corner of the Internet afloat.

One of the things I’ve realized over the years is that spending so much time in fields obsessed with ideology, talking to people obsessed with ideology, makes you yourself obsessed with ideology.

Ideology is for morons. Trying to hold consistently to one single idea like “free speech” or “social justice” turns you into a weirdo idiot. Humans don’t work like that, and the world doesn’t work like that. Ideas don’t matter, cause they’re, by definition, not real.

All that matters is living. People choose to interpret that differently and that’s what I personally find worth staying alive for.

Sorry to be part of the 43 pages of motivational speakers suddenly trying to give out life advice, btw. Kinda drunk.

I really do agree with him on how the site now isn't the one I joined three years ago. And I don't say that in a positive context.

A lot of newfags really fucked the place up, making it just another diet /pol/ for retards that think being edgy automatically makes something funny or how amazing Trump is like the brainwashed faggots they are. A lot of Animal Control turned into self-righteous keyboard warriors who think they can save the fandom or buy into a lot of the typical furfag bullshit where they actually think people like Jasonafex are racist instead of calling them obnoxious attention whores like they really are.

Would be nice if the site's cattle had less of a mob mentality that nobody can actually control and if it was a chill place where no-name weirdos laugh at other obscure weirdos instead of having a bunch of faggots taking shit way too seriously.
 
Are there any other forums online that aren't completely and utterly cucked? If Kiwi farms goes down there really isn't much left. I know of a few but they're so small and specialized that the number of active users is rarely in the triple digits.

The best and worst thing is that it's really all the same in the end. Some people lean into an ideology because they hope the world will be a little better for them having done it or that it will lift up their lives, some people have kids and hope at least one of them grows up to do something substantial and not inject heroin into their gooch. Whatever you do, you should do it because it brings you some degree of happiness and fulfillment.

I think the Farms are more important in the grand scheme of things than Null gives them credit for, but I'm not the one in charge of the Farms.
