He's going to build his own ASU. With blackjack and hookers. What is he even babbling about?

I suspect a small, third-tier university in the mid-90s was ill-equipped to deal with the likes of someone as maladjusted and antisocial as Sweet. People just weren't as aware of autism and other disorders back then as they are now. Furthermore, I suspect ASU didn't have the resources to deal with him in a manner that would have been effective and resulted in a positive outcome for everyone, including Sweet.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Sweet is right about one thing. The system DID fail him. His disabilities should have been identified and treated in early childhood. He could have learned to compensate for his social blindness, etc. He might have had a future as a conservative blogger or maybe a local talk-radio host in his area. But instead, we get this massive ball of antisocial personality disorder and premature aging.

Lmfao, holy shit, listen to how entitled and whiny he is. He's a fucking walking, talking straw man for how conservatives view liberals.

Yes, Sweet, you do settle for less. That's what 99% if people do. Its fucking how you function. After 20 years, yeah, actually, its time to give up. Its been time to give up and move on for a long time. You're miserable because you choose to be. Idiot.

I have a few things to say regarding Jonny's newest attempt to dig himself his own grave.

1. His laughable mini-college experience is basically just living in a shit apartment on tugboat like Chris. If he wasn't horrendously inept with his money and judged incompetent and not allowed to touch it, he could have been living this for the past twenty years since land value and rent in the South is actually pretty damn good. He has the money; he's just too inept and uncurious to actually get around to doing any of it.

2. He basically admitted to lusting after children and gives no fucks. He is now officially unpiteable in any way whatsoever.

3. He also admitted he didn't give a fuck about his classes at all while in college. He basically interpreted writing two or three columns or something as the point of him being there (ie not learning to get that English degree and using it for something) meaning he pissed away his own education and thus he is to blame for most of the things that went south for his life, much as he don't want to do it.

Well, he just admitted he's a pedophile like Jared Fogle. Out of all his gibberish, that stood out more than anything.

But he has an excuse. The System taught him that he's supposed to be a pedophile, making it clear that a normal relationship with an age-appropriate person "is not for me." It's odd that Sweet listens to The System's instructions on sex but not in areas like behavior, grooming, criminal activity, and work ethic. It's almost like he does whatever he pleases and when he gets called on it -- or punished for it -- conveniently blames The System, which apparently taught him that being an off-putting, slovenly, crazy, lazy criminal "is for me."

I'm not so sure he does. Things he's written like how he picks up cans for cash and how his mother handles his money heavily imply he's been judged mentally incompetent and is not allowed to manage his own money.

As I mentioned, if he wasn't listed as incompetent and thus able to use his tugboat himself, his tugboat could allow him to get an apartment and hold it, since his dorms were garbage tier stuff that was quickly condemned and torn down, and those types of pads aren't too pricey. Though considering he lost control due to being easily duped by scams and being stupid enough to pre-write checks that his crackhead of a brother was able to snag and use, he'd never be able to do it.

SSI payments are not enough for someone to live on his own.

Sweet is not eligible for SSDI -- where payments can be much higher -- because he has never worked. (A few months at The Herald at sub-minimum wages ain't enough to qualify.)

For 2017, the maximum SSI payment per individual is $735 per month.

He lives in backwoods Arkansas and lives in a room with holes in the wall, mold, and broken light fixtures. I have no doubt he could live in some filthy trailer, section 8 apartment or other such hovel for $735 per month. I think his food budget would be stretched thin with the garbage he eats, though.
I don't think he'd ever move into such a place, even for his independence, because he thinks he's better than those places.
I look forward to what happens after his mother dies and his brothers opt to put him in a group home.
I don't know if he'll chimp and go homeless or if he'll like it because he'll finally be in a daycare for adults.

That was my logic; if el Primero managed an apartment under his tard bux, then Jonny probably could swing one too. He's legit admitting to wallowing on purpose honestly, meaning he deserves all the mockery he gets.

I agree-- the group home setting will suit Sweet to a T. It will be a renaissance for him-- ASU 2.0. He can probably even contribute to the institution's newsletter!

I know the answer is :autism:/ NOBODY TOLD ME, but I can't help but wonder why Sweet never seems to contribute content to any "publications" except his self-published, unread comic books / novels and DA journal. The web is full of mostly untalented people with dumb blogs etc. for whom he could write if he had even a modicum of seriousness about "being a writer." The old-school fanzine world was comprised nearly 100% of people with defective personalities and they managed to collaborate on all kinds of stuff.

If none of the other aspects of his life send up red flags, the fact he has NO COLLEAGUES-- that no-one but us even reads his DA journals-- should let him know his approach is badly off-base.

That is a point; you can often write letters to papers and if it's any good, they sometimes publish 'em. You'd think an aspiring journo who is dedicated enough to stalk and send creepy mail to people who would forget he existed without that would also have the wherewithal to also do something like that too.

Sweets thinks things like "Jigaboo Junction" and "that Mulatto boy" are acceptable things to put in a mainstream comic. I think it's safe to say anything he attempted to submit would be trashed instantly for horrifying and comically overt racism.
