I don't think Sweet looks 10 years older than he is. He looks like someone in his mid-60s who's been rode hard and put up wet. When he was an undergraduate at ASU, he could have easily passed for 30, so the process seems to be accelerating.

Scientists have linked mental illness to premature aging. Some of the mentally ill look 25 to 30 years older than they are and also die 25 to 30 years younger than average.
 
With Sweet's disturbing appearance, I think there are more forces at work there than just his genetics. We got to consider facts such as his lack of social awareness so proper grooming and hygiene doesn't mean shit to him. Then add in his unhealthy lifestyle of holding grudges, eating shitty food, and sitting around in a decaying hovel and it's no surprise that Sweet looks like he's in his mid-60s.

Once again, Sweet demonstrates what an untruthful and unreliable narrator he is. At no point did anyone on this forum ever profess that they believed Black Friday's name had anything to do with blacks shoplifting. If you read the conversation over again Sweet, you'll see the only sentiment that was implied is that you believed that fact.

Stop twisting facts or learn some reading comprehension skills Mr. English Major. Also, you using the term "African American" doesn't erase the obvious racism you've shown in the past or the obvious racism you will show in the future. I don't see you changing the name of "Jigaboo Junction" any time soon in your comic.

It's typical of Sweet to project his racism onto those who point out the blatant racism in his stories and comics and his Klan-rally rants on dA. None of us has written fiction in which a black man is named Buckwheat. In our work, crimes don't occur at the intersection of Spade and Koone streets. No one here thinks Broke Black Mountain, with its cast of Many Coons, Lotta Jigs, Cal A. Spade and Hugh S. Blackman is funny. Nor do we characterize black people as "animals" and "savages" endowed by nature with the ability to "attack in seconds" before fading back into "the night that spawned them."

Sweet's attempts to edge away from his long history of overt and disgusting racism are about as inept as everything else he's ever attempted in life.

Yeah, and to add to that, his disgusting depiction of Asians and repeated use of "Great faggots afire!", yet, if we so much as legitimately criticize his work, he gets all offended. Mind you, this is when we point out genuine problems, not phony generalities.

Someone named @balcolm posted this a couple of years ago on a different thread about a completely seperate lolcow that I don't know much about, and I just happened to skim by it today. It impressed upon me how so many cows share fundamental similarities, and how being charitable toward them leads down the same path, as most of this could be applied to Sweet (or CWC, or...)
Okay. It actually makes me so sad and angry that you thought asking us to compare our faults to yours would do fucking anything. Let alone something that would prove that you aren't as bad as we thought (?) I mean, I'm guessing because you never really explicitly stated why you wanted this.

Because you know what response you got? You got people, young and old, admitting they aren't perfect. That they are trying their best to do what they can to improve and rectify their mistakes.

Nothing eventful has happened but I noticed that he seems to like Undertale related art. I'm guessing it's because those skeleton characters reminded him of the Good Idea, Bad Idea segment from Animaniacs.

Can someone explain something to me? Sweets went to college in the mid ninety's which means he largely grew up eighties. Where did he get all the racist stuff like naming his characters nigger Joe or Coontown George or whatever? I can't imagine the media being that full of racist stuff in the eighties.

It's very common for Sweet to identify the people he libels in his comics, typically the the extensive annotations he provides to aid the thousands of psychiatrists and phrenologists who study his work. In the issue linked above, he goes further and uses -- quite illegally -- actual photos of his victim. What a moron.

The thing with Sweet is this: It's not like he grew up around super racist people with KKK affiliation, it's more like he grew up around people who held some prejudice toward blacks and other minorities. Sweet, being autistic, started emulating these minor racist traits in some inept desire to be accepted by others.

A lot of Sweet's behavior comes down to him copying others in some desperate attempt to be accepted. Sweet just wants to be noticed and accepted by, well, anyone. Notice how he posted a new update after Holdek bumped up this thread. Sweet's a classic attention whore that will go to great lengths to capitalize on the little attention he is getting.

Yep, just like Christian Chandler. Doesn't know how to read humans, so he just emulates them. I would add that the reason that we see such vitriolic bigotry from Jon is the fact that he's such a small man, he has to constantly put down others to feel better about himself, and to feel that he has power over them, and those that intimidate him. That's the way he learned ... from being a bottom-feeder.
