I'm surprised Sweet actually reads (or has read), seeing as how watching TV is and has been the centerpiece of his life. Then again, it would explain how he's tried his hand at writing in the past.

went out of the way to misrepresent those members
Remember that one time I made up that one therapy center (or something like that) in jest -- a perpetual college/high school that would really be therapy in disguise to get people to stop trying to live in school in the past? I remember Sweet putting words in my mouth and misinterpreting my idea as both serious and as a place where the staff assaults and mugs victims. Then I remember him bringing up that "college living experience" he wants to make a reality.

Rule Zero of Journalism: If your mother tells you she loves you, check it out.

That was the motto of the old Chicago News Bureau, where Mike Royko -- one of my favorite writers -- got his start. Thumbskull, of course, never checked a fact in his life. In the Mold Kingdom, whatever he chooses to believe -- no matter how deranged, no matter how obviously false -- is defined as the truth, as his error-filled columns at The Herald, his error-filled revenge fantasies, his error-filled, racist comics and his error-filled online screeds prove beyond question.

In his latest "But I wanna work at ASU despite the fact that it's for college kids" shit

I'm using a more modern computer these days. I like the speed, but I miss being able to make .pdf files they way I used to. I'm now making ODTs, which are larger and don't load as fast.

I'd like to go to a new school and get a job at their paper to learn the new skills I need, but I still have that stupid flag on my enrollment records at ASU keeping me down.
So I have never heard of ODTs as an image file. Curious I looked it up. First google result, Organic dust toxic syndrome. Never has something been more appropriate.

The college newspaper isn't a fucking job, you sped.

It's an extracurricular activity for college students to gain some skills to apply to real jobs, put on resumes and grad school applications, and maybe, in some cases, depending on the school and how they run the paper, make some pocket money. Jesus Christ, man.

How and why the fuck does he need to make .pdf files? That's something used for documents and to some degrees books.

As for his sobbing problem, even an idiot could decide to do something like Google ".odf to .pdf file converter free" and then find the proper service or website to do it. It's not hard.

Well, my experience with self-publishing required that I send in the manuscript in PDF form. They lay out the book for you afterwards. Not sure if that's what he's doing, though.

It's a nearly impenetrable wall of arrogance that will allow that there is a problem, but refuses to recognize the cause of the problem. I keep trying to tell Jon that the issues he has with computers are easily overcome by people his age as well as children. He simply will not admit that he has some kind of learning disability.

Sometimes I wonder why Sweets hasn't gotten the Asperchu treatment with his comics, and then I remember that Sonichu had better drawing and writing.

At times I've thought about taking the pages he's uploaded and relaying them out so that they'd make more sense and be readable. Deep down I know my anatomy and body language work isn't that great, and I'd overthink the page into oblivion, so my desire to not waste too much of my time kicks in and I abandon it. Why think more about this kinda thing than Sweets does?

So what kind of arcane method is he conjuring up to make ODTs? I remember with PDFs it involved something about strings of text code. No one told him how to make PDFs on a more modern system, so it looks like he gives up and goes for some file format most people haven't heard of.

How long did it take him to learn how to use a microwave oven?

As if he couldn't sink any lower, he admitted that he does not know how to use a washing machine because it has too many knobs.

He's probably confused by the icons.

Wow... he's too retarded to use Google. This is on par with him thinking garbage was gifts.

Google? Lycos worked juuuuuuust fiiiiiiiine in 1997-thirty!
Or more realistically: no search engine. Since he seems to only reference TVTropes and Belch Dimension, or as @Dr. Merkwurdichliebe says, forum users.

Like how he linked to the TVTropes page on "two decades behind" to describe Blytheville.

How in the fuck did he find the few sites he uses then? I get more and more confused as to how this grognard even gets online if he's too retarded to use any search engine.

Maybe he rarely uses search engines (which is how he found AJM, dA, TVTropes, and of course, this thread) to find stuff he likes and/or is interested in (or someone told him about them).
