You want Naproxen or Diclofenac for the inflammation if you can get that otc in the US, try your GP if not.
When I had Gallstones, back when it was my old school, good GPs, they told me the NHS only ever recommend pethidine (Demerol in the US I think) for gallstones and kidney stones, and it was an older opiate not really used for anything else anymore as it was only useful for these two things.
Morphine is far superior for everything else.
Otherwise, drink lots, and bear the pain. You may have to weigh up whether it's going to actually hurt more, and be more psychologically taxing to try and organise pain relief, than it is to stay put with home comforts in familiar surroundings and wait a number of hours.
This too, will pass. Literally.
Sympathies, it took me three months, and lots of attacks to get them to take my gallstones seriously. It was anxiety, apparently.
