I can second this as a professional coffee addict and Italian. You've had too much of it and your body is now dependent on it. I wouldn't want to experience the unholy levels of caffeine withdrawals you get at that point.
Pro tip to anyone reading: don't drink coffee past 3PM if you're going to sleep at 9 or 10. It stays in your system for at least six hours.
Also don't drink coffee until one and a half hours after waking up so your body can produce adenosine correctly.
I nearly fell asleep in a store one time after having a cup of coffee. I now avoid having caffeine in the evening if I need to do anything out of the house.Possibly ADHD. I can drink two energy drinks and then have the greatest nap anyone has ever napped.
I stopped drinking coffee past 2 because it would fuck me up so bad at night trying to sleep and even when I did sleep it would be a shitty restless sleep that never felt relaxing.Pro tip to anyone reading: don't drink coffee past 3PM if you're going to sleep at 9 or 10. This I usually do but I don't really notice much of a difference between drinking coffee first thing when I wake up and waiting a bit first. Also don't drink coffee until one and a half hours after waking up so your body can produce adenosine correctly.
