IIRC there was a flavor of Mountain Dew in years past that either turned it coal black or neon green. Never really liked to Do the Dew myself so I never tried it out.

I just don’t want people to be alarmed, I mean yeah, blood in your system can make your stools black……but there are a few other common causes as well.

Pepto bismol freaked me out before I understood.
