My Hindu coworker is only here until the weather clears up and his normal job, truck driving, gets easier and more profitable. He's also moonlighting elsewhere and effectively has two full time jobs. At the other job, he mentioned a Mexican girl who took interest in him. He's afraid to get with her because he's leaving in a few months and she didn't take her last break up very well according to her family. But when I first met her I made the comment that he had mentioned a bit about her. Today she was bugging me asking what he said and I did my best to dance around the topic. She took that as "he totally wants to be with me" because why wouldn't she?
From there, she was all over his dick nonstop. He spent his 30 min break here going to pound town on that without any known mention of the fact he's leaving soon.

Am I a dick?

So the main point of contention here is that he's leaving in a couple months, probably never to see any of us again (at least until next winter). She didn't take her last breakup well so I don't think the rebound will be any different. That's the whole reason he resisted until now.
