Actually, the condo party in Camille isn’t very reliable.
23 people died in the apartment building in Pass Christian, MS. They weren’t throwing a party; they were hunkered down in their apartments that they had attempted to storm proof. The apartment complex was in the path of the eye wall.

There was a woman who didn’t die that stayed in the apartment complex, and she went to the media and told them that she was the only one who didn’t party, and that the other residents were being careless. And they’re dead now, so they can’t speak for themselves.

It’s most likely just an urban legend conjured by a woman who wanted her 15 minutes of fame, and is now used by Mississippi residents to warn others, and to come up with ghost stories about the old location.
