Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at 71 years old, TMZ Sports has learned.

Medics were dispatched to the 71-year-old WWE legend's Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning ... with operators stating it was regarding a "cardiac arrest."

We're told a slew of police cars and EMTs were parked outside Hogan's home ... and the icon was carried on a stretcher and into an ambulance.

Just a few weeks ago, Hogan's wife, Sky, denied rumors he was in a coma ... stating his heart was "strong" as he recovered from surgeries.

We broke the story last month -- there were rumblings Hogan was on his "deathbed" ... but we were told at the time he was just dealing with the symptoms of a neck procedure he underwent in May.

His last WWE appearance he was kinda booed though. Wrestling is full of libs now.

Yes and no. A lot of Redditors have signs. I'm willing to bet he was booed not just because he's not a fan of the black people.

If you look up "Hulk Hogan Lies" there's dozens of videos exposing him. So, I believe that the majority of people booing have access to YT and saw at least a few of these videos and did some research.

Also, I'd place Kurt Angle as my #3 fav wrestler after Undertaker and Mick Foley. Just FYI.

Hulk Hogan was the first celebrity I had a random encounter with. I was about 12, in a grocery store, and saw him in the meat department in a Gold's gym shirt, larger than life. The huge wrestling and Hulkamaniac I was, all I could do was shout out "Hulk rules!" He just smiled and said, "Right on, little brother," gave me a high five, and kept on shopping.

Also, he dropped the leg on Gawker, so he's the champion forever just for that. Rest in peace, Hulkster.
I used to work concerts and events as an EMT back in college. Got to meet all the wrestlers back then. We had to take their vitals before and after they went in the ring.

Sgt Saughter was a really nice guy. Andre was a trip didn't say much but just smiled and laughed at us trying to take his blood pressure with tools meant for humans.

Hulk Hogan spent the entire event trying to get into the pants of the 2 cute nursing students on my crew. Relentlessly. Even by 80's standards it was a bit creepy and annoying.

Dawg come on, you can't take Ozzy AND The Hulkster in the same week. What the fuck. Did Satan win a bet or something?
I never had to switch to listening from Blizzard of Oz to Hulk's Big Boot Band but it's the world we live in.
