The 1980s were full of ill-advised attempts at commercialism. So many bands who were legends of the underground tried going glam metal for that sweet filthy lucre, only to make their established fanbases hate them for it.All of this metal related autism, PvtRichardCranium would be proud.

something about this one's description just tickles me; After three albums Grave Digger decided to change their name into Digger and commercialized their sound. According to Chris Boltendahl their main motivation for this change was to make more money.
At first glance I thought the white paint guy was poking the red head in some weird backhanded way.

Photos from the database of artists completely pass over the best source of lulz on Metal Archives. The forums have a pretty consistent shitposting formula and love drama over pointless minutia. It's not worth posting pictures clearly taken to look exaggerated and melodramatic when our popcorn is best consumed two clicks away.Look at all these cool bands. I don't even know why this is a thread.
Have you ever noticed how beautiful old forest trees get spoiled by autistic Legolas ripoffs jumping through the air?
Those bands seem to be in the tradition of naming themselves after a syndrome/disease of some kind.Have you ever noticed how beautiful old forest trees get spoiled by autistic Legolas ripoffs jumping through the air?

They should have produced the soundtrack to the Maradonia movie.I love metal, but I do admit that it can get cringey as fuck sometimes. Case in point: KeyDragon. First of all, this is what their lead singer looks like:
Second, this is what the covers of some of their albums look like:
This looks like what Chris-chan would draw if he were obsessed with dragons and power metal. Oh, and don't even get me started on this band's music.
