How would you name a viking era cat?

Just go to Ikea and look at their weird furniture names and there ya go

Most people wouldn't even know the difference

I'd name it after any of the Norse Goddesses like Idun and Brigg...I know that they're kept as pets in Norse times, as well as dogs and Polar Bears (If you're royalty)
