I was told that you should see a dentist twice a year aka every 6 months. However my moid friend, who told me to do a retarded drawing while he was drunk, told me, that you only should see a dentist once every 2 years aka once every 24 months. Who's right? How often should you go to a dentist?

He's not Br*tish. I don't wanna have Br*tish teeth, however as basically any Pole I'm a poorfag so I can't overspend.

I get a somewhat extensive benefit package through work so I go in for a checkup every year and if (rarely though) there's something to be fixed/taken care of I book another appointment shortly after the checkup.

Most of the time it's just "you should cut down on energy drinks, Mr. Wrangler, but your teeth are good. Have a nice day.", the other times it's either tartar removal or small refilling on an ancient cavity at the next appointment.

You should visit your dentist as often as your dentist recommends. Like any other doctor. They know how to get the best use out of your insurance without screwing you over.
XD unfortunately no basically Polish government refused ages ago to pay for the dentistry, even though we have socialized healthcare. It's like they pay around 20-30$ YEARLY for each citizen and 20-30$ doesn't even cover one filling so essentially only poor people go through the national insurance, some people have private insurance, but most just pay out of pocket.

I hate dentists so I just go when I have some kind of dental issue. I'm missing only half my teeth so you can tell how good of an idea it is. Seriously though, I think the official recommendation is 6 months. But you can also go to a mouth hygienist to get your teeth cleaned up and they can tell you if you have anything you should see a dentist for.

are you br*tish?

Every 6 months is for cleanings. You should go when you think there's an issue if not let them take care of that and tell you what's recommended
