I don't know if it's getting worse or if it's me using it more, but I am getting a bit frustrated with the tool.

It makes mistakes. That's fair. But it's very annoying because it drags on with answers, so I need to look at the whole fucking logic again to make sure it's actually right. I need to make projects so that it remembers not to fuck up the same way again.

But the biggest problem I run into is I need to parameter it so it does not fucking lie to me. If I ask something specific, it often has a tendency to look back on things I have been concerned about and somehow include them in the conversation, make random assumptions based on nothing but what could be, and does not even acknowledge it. Unless I ask it to elaborate and then it finds it has nothing to back it up.

If you are using ChatGPT professionally, then maybe you should consider hiring competent people instead. ChatGPT is open to the public for basic shit, it is expected to help with menial stuff more than very specialized. I've used it for learning stuff in regards to programming, a great first step, but not down the ladder, once you complicate things, you better be careful and fact check everything.

If you also want quality replies, you need to focus on 1 thing at a time, and be as specific as you can. Depending on the topic, it may also omit extremely pedantic things (that you'll have to remind it) in order to have a deep conversation, because it generally expects you to be more casual about it, unless you explicitly tell it otherwise.

So if it's a complex topic, you better have some knowledge in beforehand to steer the way.

My only complaint is how the AI kiss my ass every time i input something

I sometimes purposely input incorrect stuff and it still praises my "sharp insights" lol. You have to fine tune it often
