How has autism impacted your life?

Autism is a blanket term created by doctors so they can sell drugs and treatments to kids who are just stupid, making them effectively retarded and psychologically stunted forever.

Medicine is another field of science that is stunted. Most diseases and pathologies have a cure or treatment, so pharmacompanies end up creating new fake ones to keep peddling new products.

And don't get me started on doctors and their god complex. Most of them would rather kill you than accept they don't know or made a mistake.

It gave me the confidence I needed to stand outside a Hot Topic and hold up a sign soliciting attention from Boyfriend-Free Girls Between The Ages of 18-[current age].

Does it speak to you? Do autistic people have a positive or negative or even just a neutral/mixed impact on your life? When you sleep do you feel autism? Do you feel autistic?
If it weren't for autism, I suspect this thread wouldn't exist, and I therefore wouldn't be typing up this answer. In essence, autism has robbed me of two minutes of my life I will never get back.

Being in a class in any proximity to an autist is not fun at all.
I'm old, so when I was in school they put all the autists in special ed so they wouldn't fuck up class for everyone else. They need to go back to doing that.

I disagree.
When that autism crosses a certain threshold, however, it becomes irredeemable
