It doesn't, it's like an end mill it always leave a radius - they work great for day to day keeping the dirt at bay but need a manual detail clean once a week with an aggressive vacuum - Source - We have one in my house 3 Dogs 2 Cats and various other guest animals and two adult humans who actively try an keep the place clean, they are an aid nothing more than that you can't rely on any solution like that to get everything in a single pass.

There's a small rotating brush the Roomba forces into corners which moves the dust where it can be picked up. That said, it's not great and you should consider backing it up with a dustbuster.

They're really great for hardwood floors, especially if you have a smart mop too. I have a J7+ and for my carpeted floors, I still need to vacuum every few weeks because I've found it's really only good at maintaining. The suction power isn't great and it's not able to reach everything. It's still nice to have though.

Most of them don't get to the very corner. I usually clean the corners with a piece of a paper towel when it's done.
Still love having one.

Bold of you to assume someone who doesn't understand a roomba would understand an endmill

What would a roomba do if I flipped it on it's back like a turtle?
