A year or so ago I had a friend crash on my couch for an evening. In the morning we got dressed and put on our shoes.

I do my right sock, then right shoe, then left sock, then left shoe.

He was completely baffled by this. Said he's never seen anyone do sock -> shoe -> sock -> shoe. Said it was "weird" to not do sock -> sock -> shoe -> shoe. I called him a fag and we went on to do stuff like normal.

But it has always made me think. AM I WEIRD?

Explain to me, Kiwis, how you put your socks and shoes on in the morning.

Honestly, I wasn't doing a bit and had never heard of this being "controversial" before it was mentioned to me by my friend. Had no idea this was something discussed in media since the 70s.
