How do you keep breaking microwaves?

The marketing and sales department at my place of employment has broken 15 microwaves in the past year and a half. How is this possible? They are the only department with this problem. The type of microwave is irrelevant, they even got a commercial grade one and they broke it within a month.

It is not an electrical problem. Most commonly its a part of the door or door mechanism. This includes both door handle and push button door type microwaves. All have been broken physically.

That's obviously just some retard intentionally breaking them for shiggles because it's the company's money. I hope who ever they are suffer cold hot pocket fillings and scorching crust.

Agree with @Cat tit bingo --someone's doing it on purpose out of malice, or someone's profoundly stupid and keeps leaving the door open and then walking into it.

Weird that they aren't destroying other company property, like computers or power strips, but maybe they figure a microwave is communal enough, and low-stakes enough, that there will never be a serious investigation.

This is either going to take a hidden camera or a mix of patience and autism to correlate Incidents and people's PTO and other alibis.

Someone is fucking with the interlock, either hoping maliciously that it pops open on someone by accident, or even more retarded, they want to microwave something with the door open.
