The easiest way to become famous is to steal someone else's fame, have sex with a celebrity and secretly video it. Less popular, you could always harm or kill a celebrity. The "Me-too era", method is to claim a celebrity molested or raped you.

shoot up a school and kill at least 10 children
make sure one or two are trans so that the media never shuts up about it
